Based in Prague, Czech Republic, Kurt Vinion is quickly establishing himself as the leading Wedding & Portrait Photographer in the Czech Republic.
As a former reportage photographer Kurt's photographs and stories from events throughout Europe, The Middle East, Asia, and the United States have appeared in publications worldwide including: TIME, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, Stern, Der Spiegel, The International Herald Tribune, Financial Times Deutschland, The Sunday Independent, The Economist, USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor, and various others.
With over 15-years of reportage experience, Kurt Vinion has won some of the biggest prizes in photojournalism; including a hand full of Czech Press Photo awards as well as two 1st place awards in The Best of Photojournalism for his reportages. His portrait work is regularly featured in many international magazines as well as books.
Though working on more editorial and corporate jobs closer to home, he still undertakes reporting trips each year to work on long-term projects such as his on-going documentation of street children in Ukraine.
